This week brings a huge number of happenings in the Sandboxels community. Keep reading to see what you’ve missed!
🏛️ Architectural Boom
Many individuals have started recreating real-life buildings and monuments in Sandboxels! Below are some of our recent favorites.
⚙️ Feats of Engineering
Not only did the community build cool structures, but they also created new and unique machines!
Reddit user /u/Cloudy1043 figured out how to make working transistors, which sounds promising for the field of computer science.
🎨 Fine Arts
Yes, Sandboxels is technically an art program, too.
🧪 Modding Experiments
A modding group, called NMC, has formed, and their first goal is to add all periodic table elements to Sandboxels. This is not an easy or rewarding feat, as many of the over 100 elements simply explode immediately. We will update on their progress in the next Recap.
Part 2 of SquareScream’s Modding Tutorial series on YouTube was released, which goes into detail about creating custom element behaviors for your mods.
